Adding user to security group. Sometimes a user disappear from the login screen altogether. This may happened when your run Control UserPasswords2 in XP home addition and try to make a user "Power User." To correct this, in CMD, type:
Syntax: net localgroup securityGroup UserName /add or
Example: net localgroup administrators John /add or
net localgroup users Jenny /add

Get security tab on XP Home. Download and install the Security Configuration Manager from Microsoft (Here) extract to Temp, right click on setup.inf and click on Install. Then restart. Also - You'll see security under safe mode.
